Trust Property (Res): Trust Law Definition
The assets held within a trust - also called the trust fund, corpus, or res (Latin for "thing"). Can include any form of property: real estate, investments, cash, shares, intellectual property, or personal possessions. The trust property must be clearly identified and actually transferred to the trustees for the trust to be properly constituted.
