What data we hold

When you use Equity Steward — including when you sign in via a third-party service such as Facebook — we may store your name, email address, profile information provided at sign-up, and any trust records, documents, or notes you create within the platform.

How to request deletion of your data

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. To submit a deletion request, please contact us by email:

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What deletion covers

Upon a confirmed deletion request, we will permanently remove:

• Your account profile and authentication credentials
• All trust records, documents, and notes associated with your account
• Any personal data collected during your use of the platform
• Marketing preferences and communication history

Certain anonymised, aggregated, or legally required records may be retained for statutory compliance purposes (e.g. financial audit logs), but will not contain personally identifiable information.

Self-service account deletion

If you have an active Equity Steward account, you may also delete it directly from your account settings. This will immediately remove your access and queue your data for permanent deletion within 30 days.
